The regular meeting of the Macomb Lions Club was held on July 7, 2011. Members gathered in the dining room of the Grand Prairie Home with those members in attendance as shown on the Attendance Record and Guest Register. Transcribed below is what happened at the meeting:

Program –Review of Projects and Planning for the Year
Business:
1. Lion Prueter talked about the Fly-In. No Report of funds generated but it was busy. Did sell some bulbs and brooms at tent until rain.
2. Katrina Best looking for support for mission trip to Africa. At least four members provided personal contributions.
3. Lion Bowen talked about our current community service projects. The Friendship Trail (area in park set aside for parents who have lost a child) – Path has been cleared, but there is more work to do to really spruce the area up. Highway Clean UP- We have completed 3 months of pick up. We need volunteers, but let team leaders know so they can pick up appropriate supplies from the city. The Mobile Food Pantry project. The Crossing is hosting this food drive. They want to collect $40K of food. Food will go to the Riverbend Food Pantry. Date is November 2nd. Need 20 volunteers. Home Owner Service Business. Bob assisting individuals find work. Can do yard work, car detailing, etc. If you know of some work that can be done, let Bob know.
4. Lion Beaver – Membership Report Had 18 guests this year. 10 became members (1 Pending), we lost 4 members. We had 46 members at the end of the year.
