The regular meeting of the Macomb Lions Club was held on November 17, 2011.  Members gathered in the dining room of the Grand Prairie Home with those members in attendance as shown on the Attendance Record and Guest Register.  Transcribed below is what happened at the meeting:

Program –--  District Governor Diane Kroll – Introduced by Lion Jan Entwistle.  Talked about International President Tam’s “I Believe Campaign”.  She wants to concentrate on Membership, Service and Leadership.  Asked us to conduct a food drive in February.  Also asked us to plant at least one tree as part of the International program.

Business: 

1  Lion Lueck talked about the Local Peace Poster Contest.  There were 117 entries.  Winner was Cloe Farr - $50 Bond.  2^nd place was given a $25 bond.

2. Lion Bowen – Food Pantry – pantry has been hit heavily and money is tight.  May have to reduce $25 vouchers for fresh foods to $15.

3. December 1^st meeting will be our Holiday Meeting.  Bring a guest and a can of food.
