The regular meeting of the Macomb Lions Club was held on October 20, 2011.  Members gathered in the dining room of the Grand Prairie Home with those members in attendance as shown on the Attendance Record and Guest Register.  Transcribed below is what happened at the meeting:

Program – Project Hope – C Kay Best and Rhonda Brown  Project Hope is a group of individuals that serve a hot meal once a month to those in need.  Served 260 meals last month.  Next meal is being served October 23^rd. From 4 to 6 pm.  They are also starting a Thrift Store at 119 W. Carroll.  Asked us to consider taking a month.

Business: 

1. Candy Days Give away netted $1,197.  Need to get share sales wrapped up by the end of November.  Report due December 15^th.

2. Pancake Breakfast at Fly-In  - received check from Colchester for $918.97

3. Bob Bowen passed out brochures about the Food Pantry Project.

4.  Get top three prospects to Lion Beaver.

Tail Twister Sweepstakes –  $33.00 won by Lion Jim Entwistle.
