Jim Entwistle

James Entwistle is a former educator at the high school and junior college levels and has spent nine years teaching at the university level at Western llinois University. He has also held an Illinois Certified Appraisal License and was a C.I.A.O. with the Department of Revenue. He presently is a licensed real estate broker. A native of LaSalle-Peru, he has been in the Macomb area for the past 42 years. He has been a member of the Elks, the Jaycees, and the Lamoine Valley Board of Realtors, as well as other organizations.

Jim has been very active in the Macomb Lions Club, joining in 1993. He chaired the Candy Day Committee, was publicity chair, and served as President of the Macomb Club from 1998-99.

Jim took on many responsibilities in Lion's District 1-H. He was Zone Chairperson, Region Chairperson, and member of the Merlow Group as Retention and Membership Chairperson. He became District Governor of 1-H, serving from 2010-2011...a first for a Macomb Lion.

In 2010 Jim was honored to receive an Illinois Foundation Fellow Award at the District Convention. The following year, at the 2011 District Convention held in Macomb, he received the ultimate honor of his Lions years of service: the Melvin Jones Fellowship Award.

Jim and his wife Jan (who is also a Macomb Lions Club member), currently own Key Realtors in Macomb. They are the parents of four children and have six grandchildren.
