The regular meeting of the Macomb Lions Club was held on June 2, 2011. Members gathered in the dining room of the Grand Prairie Home with those members in attendance as shown on the Attendance Record and Guest Register. Transcribed below is what happened at the meeting:

Business:
1. President Carter talked about our current community service projects: mulching the playground, highway clean up, park district path clearing, and possible food drive.
2. President Carter - Appreciation to the officers and members for making his year a good year for membership and community service. Hopes we keep it up.
3. Lion Bruce Prueter talked about the Fly-In. It will be June 26th at the airport. They are also having a tractor show and a baggo tournament. We also need set up help on the 24th and 25th. Serving from 6:30 am to noon. Then clean up afterwards.
4. Lion Jan Entwistle talked about the Hearing & Retinopathy Unit that was at Citizens Bank this morning. 30 people were screened at the Hearing Unit.
